Walking by faith: Abraham followed God's voice even though he didn't know where He would lead him!    He LIVED BY FAITH, TRUSTING GOD

Sometimes, when our Heavenly Father (God) shows us things about Himself and Who He is, we need faith, just like Abraham, to believe it. For example, when we notice the brilliance and wonder of Creation, and think about how all the wonderful animals and plants, the sea and stars got there! When He shows us things like this, we can find out the truth by reading the Bible. When we believe that the Bible is God's book, we can find out answers for all our questions. For example, when we read the first chapters of Genesis (the first book in the Bible) we can read all about where everything came from and how it was made! We can even find out where we came from too! Brilliant. All we have to do is to turn to the first two chapters of the first book in the Bible to find the answers! how cool is that. God and His Son Jesus (Yahshua) created everything!
Have you ever wondered what Adam was like? Remember, when God created him he was perfect! He didn't even know what to be a bad person meant, because he was all good! It wasn't until he ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, that he knew what it was to lie, and steal, and be mean! He was very special, Yahshua (Jesus) often came to have a chat to him in the wonderful garden of Eden where God had put him.
Did you know that Yahshua (Jesus) and His Father God, made all the animals? He made them on the same day that He made Adam. Also, He made them out of dust! How great was that! Let's imagine how it happened..... One day,in the garden, there may have been a rumbling, or perhaps a shaking, as God made all the animals out of the earth! I wonder if the animals just appeared out of the ground? Fancy, an elephant suddenly appearing! Then, later, Yahshua (Jesus) brought all the animals to Adam. Do you know, that the Bible tells us that Yahshua (Jesus) 'brought them to Adam to see what he would call them'? Adam must have had a fantastic brain to be able to work out a new name for every single animal, and remember them all! I think he gave them wonderful names, don't you? He was no illiterate caveman!!! Look at the lovely garden Adam was given to live in below, and it was much more beautiful than this simple drawing! Look at some of the animals Adam had to name. Do you think that the names he gave to them (which are the names we call them today) were good? Would you have called them anything different? When people around us don't believe the same as us, and have their own ideas about where we all came from, we need faith to believe what the Bible teaches us about our beginnings, and about God and Jesus (Yahshua) just like Abraham needed to have faith when God told him that he must leave home and go to a place that God would show him. He didn't know how or why, Abraham just believed what God told him. Believing is having faith. Do you have faith today, that God and His Son Yahshua (Jesus) created everything? Have you faith to believe that He loves you and will help you every time you ask Him to? He will you know! Do you read your Bible? If you do read it, you will find that it will help you to believe in God more, and have faith in Him.
